Over the last six years Michael Snyder of The Economic Collapse Blog has published over one-thousand research papers, articles and reports detailing the financial, economic and monetary crises sweeping the world. I believe a financial crisis is imminent… similar to what we saw in 2008 but eventually it’s going to be much worse.

When I say imminent I’m not saying it’s going to happen within the next 48 hours or within the next week.. it’s for the entire six month period, this red alert…

And then once we get to the end of 2015 I don’t believe that it’s all going to be over and that our problems are going to be past us.

No… I believe what we’re entering into is a major turning point…

In so many ways our problems are just going to be beginning as we move into 2016.

As Snyder points out, just in the two weeks since he shared his warnings we have seen Greece essentially collapse, Puerto Rico has gone bankrupt, and China’s stock markets have seen hundreds of billions of dollars in wealth wiped out. It’s so serious, in fact, that the Communist government in China has actually banned the selling of stocks! Europe is scrambling to save its currency and Union. In America the conjecture that has been economic growth is slowly being revealed to be the sham that it really is with thousands of nationwide retail store closings, over 45 million on food stamps, and a President who seems to believe the situation has been contained.

Are you in tune with your ancestral sleep rhythms?

Sleep is an important “activity” for most people, essential for rejuvenating the mind and revitalizing the body. But like most people, you’re probably not getting all the sleep you need, and over the years you may have incurred a sleep debt.

Many people find they wake during the night without warning, causing worry that they may be suffering from a sleep disorder or other health issues. The reality is, however, sleep may not be an all-night thing as we commonly see it in today’s society. In fact, historical records, centuries-old literature, and ancient references to sleep are all revealing a whole new way we should be looking at how we slumber.

Segmented Sleep: More Normal Than You Realize

It’s probably not a stretch to say you’ve woken up during sleep once or twice in your life time. Perhaps you find you’re waking up in the middle of the night every night, and maybe you’re wondering if you may be suffering from insomnia or maybe even sleep apnea. Most people naturally follow this line of thinking, and doctors are more than happy to prescribe a sleeping pill to these individuals. Known as “segmented sleep,” this seemingly irregular sleeping pattern may not be a disorder at all, but a natural biological response that we, in modern times, have forgotten.

An English scholar named Roger Ekirch has recently cemented the idea that our ancestors used to naturally “practice” segmented sleep, using their middle-of-the-night waking hours to pray, meditate, or finish chores around the home. ^[1] Roger Ekirch found references to “first sleep” and “second sleep” in literature, legal documents, and even letters dating before the Industrial period. The inbetween hour or hours were usually spent in prayer, and many find it to be one of the most relaxing periods. This may be because this middle period between first sleep and second sleep is around midnight where the brain produces prolactin, a hormone that supports a feeling of relaxation.

Our natural biorhythms are governed by our exposure to light and darkness. Before the introduction of the lightbulb, almost everyone scheduled their day around the rising and setting of the sun. When the sun rose in the morning, so did humans, and when the sun hit the horizon in the evening, we more than likely went to sleep around the same time. Our brain produces serotonin in response to sunlight, and this neurotransmitter provides an energetic, wakeful feeling. ^[2] In contrast, when we’re exposed to darkness–meaning no artificial light whatsoever–our brain produces sleep-regulating melatonin. Computers, television screens, smartphones, tablets, and every other source of light in the evening hours is artificially extending our waking hours and interfering with our neurochemistry.

Because of this, it is possible that the practice of segmented sleep naturally fell away from public knowledge as time went by. We stay up longer, produce serotonin when we’re not supposed to, and also consume a less-than-ideal diet. All of these factors could be the reason why we usually sleep throughout the night without waking and view this as normal. Still, there are some people who find that they wake up in the middle of the night consistently, without a clue as to why it keeps happening. The public, including medical professionals and sleep specialists, have never heard of segmented sleep and aren’t trained to handle this natural occurrence. FBI HEAD: TERROR PANIC IS THE “NEW NORMAL”

Claims FBI thwarted several attacks on July 4th

FBI head James Comey said Thursday that the Bureau now considers the heightened state of terror alert and increased police presence in major cities enacted for the July 4th holiday as the “new normal”.

Speaking with reporters at FBI Headquarters, Comey said that bulletins issued by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security warning of possible terror activity timed to the holiday were prompted by the “overall threat” posed by ISIS and other extremists, commenting “This is sort of the new normal.”

Comey warned that “dozens” of suspected ISIS recruits inside the U.S. have “gone dark”, and are eluding FBI surveillance by using encrypted communications.

Comey used the same term as he and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates used in testimony before members of Congress one day previously, concerning alleged security risks posed by the government’s limited investigative capabilities.

The FBI Director also claimed, without presenting any evidence, that federal authorities prevented numerous terror plots that were to be timed around July 4th which were designed by extremists to “kill people in the United States.”

“I do believe our work disrupted efforts to kill people likely in connection with July 4th,” Comey told reporters without detailing who or what the intended targets were.

Comey declared that more than 10 people have been arrested in the U.S. in the past month on charges related to their association with ISIS, with some specifically planning to strike on July 4th.

The suspects were arrested in New Jersey, Ohio and North Carolina.

“We face people who are highly unpredictable. We cannot count on the fact that they’ll be looking to do something on July fourth, so July third, we really got to lock these guys up.” Comey said.

Comey described the call by ISIS leaders for supporters to carry out violence on behalf of the militant group as “crowd sourcing terrorism”.

He noted that while Al Qaeda carefully planned and trained for operations, officials are concerned that the Islamic State is encouraging extremists to commit violence “on a very short string.”

Before Congress on Wednesday, Comey suggested that more than 200 Americans have traveled or attempted to travel to Syria to fight for Islamic militants.

“We continue to identify individuals who seek to join the ranks of foreign fighters … and also homegrown violent extremists who may aspire to attack the United States from within,” Comey told lawmakers on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

He has previously claimed that there are “hundreds, maybe thousands” of people in the U.S. being actively recruited by ISIS, and that the government’s search for potential threats constitutes looking for a “needle in a haystack”.

As InfoWars noted last week, the FBI has moved to establish “command centers” around the United States citing the terror threat but not presenting any evidence that extremists have planned attacks.

Here is a summary of the latest revelations on FBI cover-up and lies concerning the Waco, Mt. Carmel compound.

There is photographic and physical evidence that the FBI fired M651 40mm explosive CS (tear gas) rounds into the compound, despite repeated denials to the contrary.

One US Army Colonel and one US Army Brigadier General, both experts in special warfare operations, were dressed in civilian clothes and flown from Washington to Waco in FBI aircraft to plan to help execute the final destruction of Waco. These procedures were clearly done to avoid discovery of Army Special Forces involvement, in violation of the legal prohibition of Army personnel being used in civilian cases.

US Army weapons, aircraft and high tech surveillance equipment were used in the attack, without Army markings, also in violation of existing law.

Newly released (by FOIA demand) Forward Looking Infra-red (FLIR) camera film taken by the FBI during the assault not only shows men emerging from a tank and firing automatic weapons into the rear of the compound (to stop anyone from escaping) but comes complete with government pilots describing the movements of the men, dressed in black, as it happens. FBI spokesman Byron Sage admitted these recordings contained tactical conversations of the FBI HRT (Hostage Rescue Team) and contained discussions of use of CS explosive shells. These tactic conversations were transmitted in real time via satellite uplink to the White House situation room.

ANALYSIS: For Janet Reno to continue to deny knowledge of this is predictable but beyond justifiable belief. The physical evidence of the use of explosive CS grenades has been in the custody of Texas Rangers for years, but prohibited from being seen by any one except by direct permission of the Justice Department (which was never granted). For the Justice Department to demand jurisdiction over who sees the evidence, is good evidence that they knew of its damaging significance to the official story. The Rangers confirm that the Feds have always known what was in their custody. The cover-up continues today with the collusion of a local federal judge who has seized the evidence and put it under court seal. The two special forces field officers (Col. Boykin and Gen. Shoomaker) are obviously accessories to the illegal Army participation. According to a former CIA officer, Gene Cullen, as reported in The Dallas Morning News, their surreptitious travel arrangements in civilian clothes via the FBI rather than military aircraft was meant to leave no paper trail of their presence in Waco. The systematic lying and official denials from several government agencies points to some form of conspiracy. These arrangements could not have been made except through the highest official channels, since they involved illegal acts of more than one agency. As World Net Daily pointed out, the two officers have since been well rewarded for this and other services to the dark side of government. They have both been promoted rapidly in rank over their contemporaries--Col. Boykin to Lt. Gen. in command of US Army Special Ops (the dirty tricks side of Delta Force) and Shoomaker to CIC of US Special Operations Command (the boss over all Army black operations that Congress has no knowledge of). After reviewing this and other data on a television special, Ted Kopel could not resist calling for Reno's resignation. But that won't help. This conspiracy of government control goes well beyond any individual player. When Reno goes, they will simply give us a "kinder, gentler" face who will still carry out the same policies. The establishment has long learned that all they have to do is make the appearance of doing something and the public will go back to sleep. A Justice Department spokesman told CNN that Reno is looking to appoint an "outside investigator" to look into this matter. It won't help. They have any number of yes-men in the sidelines, like Ken Starr, who will spend a lot of money and make a splash, but won't ever indict the top leaders responsible. They will dismiss a few fall guys in the FBI or Justice Department (who will be quickly hired by big corporations closely connected to the PTB [powers that be], and it will be business as usual.

DEMOCRATS INTRODUCE BILL TO BAN ‘HUSBAND’ AND ‘WIFE’ AS ‘ANTI-GAY’ WORDS

"Gendered terms" would be removed from federal law

Fresh off the Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage, Democrats in California have introduced a bill that would ban the words “husband” and “wife” from being used in federal law because they are “gendered terms” and discriminate against gay people.

The words husband and wife were deleted from California state law last year in order to accommodate same sex marriage.

Under new legislation proposed by over two dozen Democrats, that same rule would be applied federally. The bill, introduced by Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif, would introduce new “gender-neutral” terms such as “spouse” or “married couple.”


“The Amend the Code for Marriage Equality Act recognizes that the words in our laws have meaning and can continue to reflect prejudice and discrimination even when rendered null by our highest courts,” Capps said. “Our values as a country are reflected in our laws. I authored this bill because it is imperative that our federal code reflect the equality of all marriages.”

Capps said that amending the language used was necessary to reflect “the equality of all marriages” following last month’s Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage that mandated all states to license same sex marriages.

“Now that compulsory gay marriage is the law of the land thanks to the U.S. Supreme Court, liberals are reaching out from that decision to see where else they can force the gay lobby’s agenda on the country,” writes Warner Todd Huston.

Meanwhile, a Toledo Municipal Court judge who refused to marry a same sex couple because of his religious beliefs is seeking an advisory opinion from the Ohio Supreme Court on whether he can opt out of performing gay marriages.

“On Monday, July 6, I declined to marry a non-traditional couple during my duties assignment. The declination was based upon my personal and Christian beliefs established over many years. I apologize to the couple for the delay they experienced and wish them the best,” Judge C. Allen McConnell, a Democrat,said in a statement.

Gay group Equality Toledo said the couple were “humiliated” by the incident, despite the fact that they were married by another judge shortly afterwards.

MEMPHIS CITY COUNCIL APPROVES PLAN TO DIG UP CONFEDERATE GENERAL

No word yet if American flag will also be removed, since that follows same "logic"

A resolution to remove Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest’s remains from a public park was passed by the Memphis, Tenn., City Council.

The council unanimously approved the plan Tuesday night to dig up Forrest’s grave from under his statue at the Health Sciences Park on Union Avenue.

“I think it’s disgusting that people use the shooting in Charleston [S.C.] and use those victims to forward their own agenda and join this anti-Confederate hysteria that’s going on,” the Sons of the Confederate Veterans spokesperson, Lee Millar, told WREG, adding that the decision was a knee-jerk reaction. “To attack something like that now I feel is just really misguided.”

City council member Myron Lowery even admitted the Charleston church shooting spurred the decision.

“It was clearly after what happened in South Carolina,” he said. “It was clearly after what happened in the state capital of Tennessee.”

There’s no word if the American flag will also be removed from public areas around Memphis, since it flew over a pro-slavery nation far longer than the Confederate flag.

Also, Forrest was a proud Democrat, but there’s similarly no word yet if Democratic Party symbolism around Memphis will also banned, since that would follow the same logic as the removal of the Confederate flag.

The staff at Elmwood Cemetery, the oldest active cemetery in Memphis, offered to take Forrest’s remains, but said they didn’t want his statue currently standing above his grave.

Still, to remove the remains, a court has to sign off on the removal with involvement from Forrest’s descendants.

Some local residents are completely against digging up the general.

“We need to have a coming together of people, not a divide and conquer,” resident Katherine Blalock said.

Maine Becomes Sixth Constitutional Carry State

The state of Maine became the sixth in the country to allow citizens to carry firearms without the need to obtain a permit on Wednesday.

Gov. Paul Lepage (R.) signed Legislative Document 652 into law Wednesday, creating the state’s new permitless concealed carry framework. The permitless carry, commonly referred to as constitutional carry by gun rights activists, allows anyone over the age of 21 to carry a firearm so long as they legally own the firearm. Felons and other criminals are still prohibited from carrying a firearm.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) celebrated the move as “another victory for gun owners.”

“Maine now joins an ever-growing number of states in passing permitless carry,” executive director of the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action Chris Cox said in a press release. “Despite the best efforts of Michael Bloomberg-funded groups to distort the truth, the Maine legislature and governor stood strong for freedom. It’s encouraging to see a governor stand up for the rights of their constituents, instead of caving to the demands of an anti-gun billionaire from New York City.”

“On behalf of the NRA’s five million members, we would like to thank Gov. LePage, Senator Eric Brakey, and the House and Senate leadership for their work in pushing this legislation through.”

The National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) also celebrated the new law. “We’re very pleased the governor signed this landmark pro-gun bill,” NAGR president Dudley Brown said in a release. “We would like to thank pro-gun State Sen. Eric Brakey for sponsoring this bill, and we’re especially grateful to the NAGR members and supporters who took action to support this bill.”

“We are so excited that both Kansas and Maine passed constitutional carry this year,” Brown said. “This is a first that all pro-gun people should be proud of.”

Gun control groups including Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America condemned the passage of Legislative Document 652 but did not release a statement on it becoming law.

Maine joins Alaska, Arizona, Kansas, Vermont, and Wyoming in removing permitting requirements for concealed carry.

We Better Censor the Constitution

Academic: Constitution Is ‘Confederate Symbol,’ Censor It

A political scientist and former professor has penned an article calling for the U.S. Constitution to be censored in order to conceal older parts that are offensive.

“South Carolina’s battle flag may soon come down from the capitol flagpole, but other symbols of the Confederacy’s ideology remain in place,” writes political scientist and former University of Maryland professor Henry Bain in an editorial that has appeared in several newspapers around the country. “For example, consider the U. S. Constitution.”

Bain isn’t calling for the creation of a new Constitution, but rather says the current one should simply be edited to remove parts he considers immoral and outdated.

“All copies of the Constitution promulgate detailed instructions for the recapture of slaves who have run away from their owners,” he says. “They also specify that slaves are to be counted as three-fifths of a person in the Census, giving a boost to the slave-owning states in the House of Representatives and the Electoral College.”

Bain is referring, of course, to the parts of the Constitution which reflect the fact slavery was legal until after the Civil War, when the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments were ratified. Slavery isn’t his only problem, as he believes in removing any other text that references “embarrassing” parts of American history, like Prohibition.

Modern copies of the Constitution (such as that at Archive.gov) typically show the text as it originally was, while also including a note that such clauses have been superseded by later amendments. That may seem reasonable, but Bain says that kind of approach is the reason nine people found themselves brutally gunned down in Charleston.

“One might justify this presentation of our national charter by saying that it commemorates an earlier time or instructs students on the nation’s political history,” says Bain. “That kind of thinking has prevailed for a long time in Charleston, only recently yielding in the face of an atrocity.”

And so, Bain says, the Constitution needs to be “reorganiz[ed]” to suit the modern era, with offensive text excised and moved to a separate back section, “where it belongs.” Such a move would create “a Constitution that deserves to be read aloud each year when the House of Representatives begins its session,” unlike the undeserving current one, which Republicans have read aloud at the opening of Congress for the last three congresses.

And who does Bain view as a good candidate to carry out this reorganization? For starters, himself. Bain is promoting his book, “The Constitution of the United States of America Modern Edition,” which he says makes the tired old document “at last readable” to the modern citizen.

Prepare to Pay by the Mile

Oregon Is First State to Charge Drivers for Each Mile They Drive

(CNSNews.com) - When he's not riding his bicycle, Rep. Earl Blumenauer, an Oregon Democrat, said he's driving a fuel-efficient hybrid, and that's a problem, because it means he's not paying his "fair share" for highway maintenance.

Blumenauer says that's why he signed up for OReGO, the nation's first program to charge drivers based on the number of miles they drive.

The program launched on July 1. It is voluntary at the moment, but Blumenauer expects that to change:
"I'm excited to be one of the first 5,000 volunteers in the OReGO program, because I'm convinced that as a state and as a nation we should not pay for transportation based on how much fuel we consume," he said in a videotaped message for OReGO:

He noted that gas taxes are no longer an effective highway user-fee due to inflation and increasing fuel efficiency.

"Oregon brought America the first gas tax dedicated to road construction in 1919," Blumenauer said. "Within a decade, every state in the union had followed suit, and the first federal gas tax was levied shortly thereafter. Now oregon is once again ahead of the curve. OReGO is the largest program in the country exploring a road usage charge as an alternative to the gas tax, and other states are already following suit.

"I've introduced legislation in Congress that would fund projects like OReGO all across the country."

Blumenauer said the program will "improve the way we drive and the way we plan our commumnities as well as our trips."

He said it will help his state pay for a 21st transportation system and "will lead the way for the nation to follow suit.

The road-usage charge is currently set at 1.5 cents per mile. Participants with the GPS-enabled option are not charged for out-of-state road usage.

And for people worried about privacy issues, the OReGO website says volunteers who enroll in the program will have their personal information "kept secure and private."

The result of the referendum in Greece is a great victory for freedom, but it is also threatens to unleash unprecedented economic chaos all across Europe.

With almost all of the votes counted, it is being reported that approximately 61 percent of Greeks have voted “no” and only about 39 percent of Greeks have voted “yes”. This is a much larger margin of victory for the “no” side than almost everyone was anticipating, and it represents a stunning rejection of European austerity. Massive celebrations have erupted on the streets of Athens and other major Greek cities, but the euphoria may not last long. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is promising that Greece will be able to stay in the euro, but that gives EU bureaucrats and the IMF a tremendous amount of power, because at this point the Greek government is flat broke. Without more money from the EU and the IMF, the Greek government will not be able to pay its bills and virtually all Greek banks will inevitably collapse. Meanwhile, the rest of Europe is about to experience a tremendous amount of pain as financial markets respond to the results of this referendum. The euro is already plummeting, and most analysts expect European bond yields to soar and European stocks to drop substantially when trading opens on Monday morning.

Personally, I love the fact that the Greek people decided not to buckle under the pressure being imposed on them by the EU and the IMF. But amidst all of the celebration, the cold, hard reality of the matter is that your options are extremely limited when you are out of money.


How is the Greek government going to pay its bills without any money?

How are the insolvent Greek banks going to operate without any money?

How is the Greek economy going to function without any money?

Now that the Greek people have overwhelmingly rejected the demands of the creditors, it will be very interesting to see what the EU and the IMF do. Prior to the referendum, European leaders were insisting that a “no” vote would put an end to negotiations and would force Greece to leave the euro.

Now that the results are in, are they going to change their tune? Because the ball is definitely in their court…


“This does two things: it legitimises the stance of the Greek government and it leaves the ball in Europe’s court,” ANZ Bank analysts said in a note.

“Europe either folds or Greece goes bankrupt; over to you Merkel.”

So would they actually let Greece go bankrupt?

It is going to be fascinating to watch what happens over the next few days. Right now, Greek banks are on life support. If the European Central Bank decides to pull the plug, they would essentially destroy the entire Greek banking system. The only thing that can keep Greek banks alive and kicking is more intervention from the ECB. The following comes from the New York Times…

Now that Greek voters have said no to the economic demands of its international creditors, the fate of the country’s struggling banks is in the hands of the European Central Bank.

Greece’s banks, closed since last Monday because they are perilously low on cash, have been kept alive in recent weeks by emergency loans from the European Central Bank. On Monday, the central bank’s policy makers plan to convene to determine how much longer they are willing to prop up the Greek banks, now that the country has essentially said no to the unpopular dictates of the other eurozone countries.

Of much greater concern to the rest of the world is how financial markets are going to respond to all of this. As I write this article, things already appear to be unraveling. The following comes from CNBC…

Germany’s Dax is indicated sharply lower from Friday’s close at around 4 percent, while the eurowas down 2 percent against the yen as the news emerged. U.S. stocks are expected to open around 1 percent lower Monday, according to recent stock futures data.

What could be most important for those worried about contagion from the Greek crisis is how Portuguese, Spanish and Italian government bonds perform in Monday morning trade.

If these peripheral euro zone countries, often lumped in with Greece, suffer a sharp spike in yields, this could cause alarm about whether Greece leaving the currency might cause further contagion to other weaker euro zone economies.

This could potentially become a “trigger event” that unleashes a wave of financial panic all over Europe. And once financial panic begins, it is very difficult to end.

If the EU and the IMF want to avoid a crisis, they could just give in to the new Greek government. But that would be politically risky for certain high profile European leaders. For instance, Angela Merkel would face a huge backlash back home if she conceded to the new Greek government now. And other German leaders are already calling the referendum result a “disaster”…

German politicians branded the result a ‘disaster’, with the country’s economy minister Sigmar Gabriel Sigmar accusing Tsipras of ‘tearing down the last bridges on which Greece and Europe could have moved towards a compromise’.

He added: ‘Tsipras and his government are leading the Greek people on a path of bitter abandonment and hopelessness.’

And the president of the European Parliament, a German, told a German radio station over the weekend that a “no” vote would almost certainly mean that the Greeks will be forced out of the euro…

“If after the referendum, the majority is a ‘no,’ they will have to introduce another currency because the euro will no longer be available for a means of payment,” Martin Schulz, European Parliament president, said on German radio.

That is pretty strong language, eh?

Here is yet another quote from Schulz…

“Without new money, salaries won’t be paid, the health system will stop functioning, the power network and public transport will break down, and they won’t be able to import vital goods because nobody can pay,” he said.

So at this point it is all up to the EU and the IMF, and in particular the focus will be on the Germans.

What will they decide to do?

Will they give in, or will they force the Greeks to leave the euro?

If the Greeks do transition from the euro to a new currency, it will be a process that takes months (if not longer). You just can’t change ATMs, computer systems, cash registers, etc. overnight. So a move to the drachma would not be as simple as many are suggesting…

British firms like De La Rue, which prints 150 currencies worldwide, are believed to have been contacted with a view to providing such services.

It’s done in great secrecy to prevent currency speculation. The other big problem is the logistical challenges of switching a currency. All ATMs, computers and other machinery of commerce that bears the euro symbol will have to be adjusted. It could, and would, take months.

And if Greece does leave, it will be a massive shock for global financial markets. Faith in the European project will be shattered, the euro will drop like a rock, bond yields all over the continent will rise to unsustainable levels and major banks all over Europe will fail.

I think that the following quote from Romano Prodi sums things up quite well…

Romano Prodi, former chief of the European Commission and Italy’s ex-premier, said it is the EU’s own survival that is now at stake as the botched handling of the Greek crisis escalates into a catastrophe. “If the EU cannot resolve a small problem the size of Greece, what is the point of Europe?“

Meanwhile, we should all keep in mind that a financial crisis has already erupted over in Asia as well. Chinese stocks have lost 30 percent of their value in just the last three weeks. In fact, the amount of “paper wealth” wiped out in China over the past three weeks is approximately equivalent to “10 times Greece’s gross domestic product”…

A dizzying three-week plunge in Chinese equities has wiped out $2.36 trillion in market value — equivalent to about 10 times Greece’s gross domestic product last year.

The great financial collapse of 2015 is well underway, and it should be a very interesting week for global markets.

But no matter what happens this week, we all need to keep in mind that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

A “perfect storm” is on the way, and we all need to get prepared for it while we still can.

UNEXPLAINED ASPECTS OF THE COLUMBINE HIGH SCHOOL SHOOTINGS.
As usual the media isn't very good at asking key questions that might reveal a different solution that what is desired.
A. It is obvious to most observers that the two teenage shooters had help. Transporting and prepositioning the number of bombs into the school exceeded what two boys could carry in even a dozen trips. Bombs the size of 20 lb. propane cylinders cannot be hidden under a trenchcoat. How did they get them into the school without detection? Taking the bombs into the building would have required numerous trips. This could not have been done during daylight or when the school was open since the bombs were large and impossible to conceal under clothing. They must have had a key or access through an accomplice. How did the bombs go undetected since some were not so well hidden?
B. Live news coverage showed several older "students" (looking like men in their mid 20s) being apprehended early on in the conflict. It was interesting that even as the media kept talking about potential conspiracy in this issue, they kept repeating the law enforcement claims that they "had no other suspects." At no time did any reporter ask them about the persons earlier seen on video being apprehended. Later on as other talk radio hosts illuminated the inconsistencies, the media released the story that the "students" were released because it was determined these suspects were "not involved." Rather than asked how this was determined, the media simply accepted the report.
C. The media barely covered the existence and action of the armed guard present in the school who fled after exchanging a few rounds. He was a bona fide police deputy. What was he doing there? Why did he flee? Why was he not prosecuted for leaving the students undefended?
D. The suicide story of the two shooters went without question. There are important details that the press should have asked. How were they shot? What caliber bullet was found? Strangely, no details about these "suicides" have come forth. Of course, as has been shown in numerous other government cover-ups, it is easy for government to find autopsy doctors willing to falsify any outcome the government desires. Frankly, it is very difficult to kill oneself with a .22 caliber bullet. It is so small, it must hit some very critical area to be fatal. Most attempts by a .22 do not result in a successful suicide.
ANALYSIS: The Columbine shooting has launched a massive media campaign against gun possession, as predicted. The reach of their calls for action even extend to prohibiting concealed weapons holders to carry on school grounds. How in the world do they invent any linkage between concealed weapons permits and this shooting? If anything, a concealed weapons holder could have only helped in this situation. Touting the image of a "gun free" school zone only clouds the issue. Schools "free" of defensive guns (police or concealed weapons holders) clearly are more at risk in these surprise attacks--not less.
The media moguls cried crocodile tears and beat the emotional drums for the victims for days on end--not because of true sympathy, in my opinion, but rather because they were savoring the opportunity of using this incident to help destroy Second Amendment rights. Even more troubling is the potential that agent provocateurs were involved. I find it very difficult to believe that it was simply coincidental that this incident happened at the same time the NRA had scheduled their national conference in Denver. Both before and after the OKC bombing, the government has been involved directly in numerous attempts to infiltrate right wing militia organizations--not with clean cut agents trying to simply monitor their activities--but rather with thug-type criminals paid to induce attacks against the government and otherwise engage in unlawful activities. Virtually every militia organization in the US has numerous documented accounts of government attempts to provoke illegal actions.
The implications of such tactics to create an enemy that wouldn't exist otherwise is strong evidence of conspiracy to destroy liberty. All of my subscribers should read Rodney Stich's book Defrauding America (1-800-292-2831) for one of the best compilations of first hand experiences of federal agents who have had personal experiences with the dark side of government. In Defrauding America, several CIA agents make a dramatic case for the fact that Denver is one of the largest centers of government illegal activity. The dark side of government controls many government, police and financial figures in this area. They operate real estate companies, banks, and savings and loan organizations to launder covert funds. They also operate a special CIA covert operations base out of Buckley Airfield near Denver, complete with a fleet of black helicopters.

• Richard Stockton was taken prisoner for signing the Declaration and imprisoned in New York City's infamous Provost Jail.
• John Witherspoon saw his eldest son, James, killed during the Battle of Germantown.
• A number of signers had their homes and property taken, looted, and destroyed by the British.
• Philip Livingston sacrificed what was left of his wealth to support the war effort and likely died penniless.
• Abraham Clark saw two of his sons captured by the British and incarcerated on the prison ship Jersey, with little hope of surviving.
• Francis Lewis' estate was raided by the British and his wife was taken prisoner.

Pattern of U.S. complicity in arming terror army

A move by the United States to prevent its Arab allies from helping the Kurds battle the Islamic State is being characterized as a lack of strategic leadership over what the establishment media calls “the world’s gravest security crisis for decades.”

From The Telegraph today:

High level officials from Gulf and other states have told this newspaper that all attempts to persuade Mr Obama of the need to arm the Kurds directly as part of more vigorous plans to take on Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) have failed. The Senate voted down one attempt by supporters of the Kurdish cause last month.

For months now the government of Iraq and a large number of Iraqis have accused the United States of aiding and abetting the terrorist army.

“We all know that America is providing ISIS with weapons and food, and that it is because of American backing that they have become so strong,” an Iraq told The Wall Street Journal on June 25.

The Journal dismissed the opinion as an “outlandish” conspiracy theory despite a wealth of information to the contrary:

Such conspiracy theories about America’s support for Islamic State are outlandish, no doubt. But they are so widespread that they now represent a political reality with real-world consequences—making it harder for the U.S. and allies to cobble together Iraqi forces that could regain the country’s Sunni heartland from Islamic State’s murderous rule one day.

In December Iranian state media claimed U.S. military aircraft dropped weapons in areas held by the Islamic State following previous accusations.

“Iraqi intelligence sources reiterated that the US military planes have airdropped several aid cargoes for ISIL terrorists to help them resist the siege laid by the Iraqi army, security and popular forces,” a report issued in November by Iraqi intelligence sources stated.

“What is important is that the US sends these weapons to only those that cooperate with the Pentagon and this indicates that the US plays a role in arming the ISIL.”

In March the Fars News agency reported “A group of Iraqi popular forces known as Al-Hashad Al-Shabi shot down a US Army helicopter that was carrying weapons for the ISIL in the western parts of Al-Baqdadi region in Al-Anbar province” in late February.

A video was also released claiming to show a US Chinook helicopter dropping two boxes full of weapons for ISIS by flying at a low altitude in an extremist controlled area south of Fallujah. The footage is said to have been filmed by the Iraq-based Hezbollah Brigades.

Pretext to build and expand the surveillance grid

Although the government admits it has absolutely no credible evidence that ISIS or anybody else plans to attack the United States over the 4th of July holiday, the FBI has moved to establish command centers around the United States.

The command centers will integrate local, state and federal law enforcement agencies “so officials can gauge the threat level and respond quickly,” according to Fox News.

Additionally, the move appears to be an effort to engage in precrime tactics:

Another law enforcement source told Fox the FBI’s strategy has shifted toward getting ISIS supporters off the streets as soon as possible, given that it’s hard to predict when one might go operational. This could include arresting individuals on lesser charges and then building a broader case once that person is in custody.

The FBI is known for grooming patsies through criminal informants and then arresting them and working with the establishment media to create sensationalistic headlines that give the impression the United States is under attack by terrorists.

Moreover, command centers and so-called fusion centers around the country are routinely used to monitor political activists, not supposed terrorists. The centers often work hand-in-hand with the private sector to undermine the Fist Amendment rights of American citizens.

“The anti-terrorist apparatus that the U.S. government established after 9/11 has now been turned against law-abiding citizens exercising their First Amendment rights. This apparatus consists not only of advanced surveillance technologies but also of ‘fusion centers’ in state after state that coordinate the efforts of law enforcement up and down the line and collaborate with leading members of the private sector,” writesMatthew Rothschild.

Hyperbolic terror threats issued by the likes of CBS News senior security contributor and former CIA deputy director Michael Morell (see above video) and the Washington establishment are designed to keep a largely bogus and evolving domestic terror threat scheme and the war on terror business model on track despite the fact most Americans are sick and tired of endless terror warnings that are blown out of proportion and do not pan out.

The terror threats will continue to be used as a pretext to build and expand the surveillance grid in the United States. The target of this apparatus is not ISIS and foreign jihadist terrorists, but the American people.

U.S. on high alert for Independence Day events

Following warnings by the federal government that terrorists may be planning to attack Independence Day events, FBI agents are reportedly telling friends and family members to avoid major July 4 celebrations.

Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft cites an “inside source” who told him that, “FBI agents are telling their friends and family members to avoid “official celebrations.”

Hoft also claims that the FBI has canceled vacation for all its agents for the duration of the weekend.

Earlier this week, the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI issued alerts to local law enforcement and urged Americans to “remain vigilant” for this weekend’s July 4 events.

Former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell also said Monday that he “wouldn’t be surprised” if there’s a terrorist attack during the 4th of July weekend.

“This one really resonates with me for two reasons,” Morell said. “One is there’s been about 50 people in the last 12 months who have been arrested in the United States for being radicalized by ISIS, wanting to go fight there or wanting to conduct an attack here, so there’s a lot of people out there who are seeing themselves as aligned with ISIS, number one.”

“Number two, you have this ISIS call to arms during Ramadan,” Morell said. “We are right in the middle of Ramadan, call to arms, conduct attacks against our enemies, so I’m worried about this one.”

Fox News also reported that the FBI is setting up command centers in all of its 56 field offices across the country to monitor potential terror threats.

ISIS supporters have recently intensified their social media propaganda campaign, with almost 100,000 tweets a day urging mass murder.

The warnings follow deadly attacks by ISIS last week in Tunisia, France and Kuwait that killed scores of people.
